Someone dear to you has just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. You now have a very special way to honor and support her. You can bring awareness of the importance of early detection. You can promote physical activity like rowing and paddling as an accelerator in recovery. You can actually help find cures.
Your donation makes it possible for Row for the Cure® to help establish new events which benefit local affiliates of Susan G. Komen® to support local education, free screenings, follow-up treatments and many kinds of family support as well as direct funding for cutting edge research for cures.
Participate
Every year more than 5000 rowers and paddlers participate in Row for the Cure® events in as many as 12 communities across the country. If you don’t see an event close to home, consider a road trip or better yet, take the plunge and start your own Row for the Cure®.
Volunteer
We are an all-volunteer organization and will gladly show you ways to help at the national level or with your local regatta organizing committee.
Host
Row for the Cure® would like to assist you in hosting your own event to support your local affiliate of Susan G. Komen®. You can start small or large, convert all or a portion of an existing event. We have a whole tool box to open the door to a successful event.
