RegattaCentral, a leading provider of online solutions for the rowing community, has entered into a multi-year contract with Row for the Cure as its official registrar. Based in Oregon, Row for the Cure is the rowing and water-sports community’s crusade against breast cancer, raising over $3.1 million to benefit local communities through Susan G. Komen®. Today, with multiple events across the U.S, Row for the Cure has blossomed into a multi-sport event that includes athletes of all ages and represents three sports: rowing, canoe/kayak, and stand up paddle boarding as well as indoor regattas. With over 20 cities having hosted a Row for the Cure, participants now raise over $300,000 annually, rowing and paddling together to save lives in their local communities. Row for the Cure has been a long-time client of RegattaCentral and this new agreement will help both organizations expand and enhance the contributions made to fight the disease.

“Row for the Cure, and our ability to raise significant funds toward the fight against breast cancer, is thriving due to our strong partnerships and we are grateful to Regatta Central for their support every step of the way, including promoting our Pink the Boathouse campaign throughout October to advance breast cancer awareness,” said Row for the Cure President, Beth Kohl. “Our Board has set aggressive goals to expand our brand and broaden participation in Row for the Cure events and we look forward to working with Regatta Central in the years ahead to make our goals a reality.”

Steve Lopez, President of RegattaCentral is looking forward to the continued partnership with Row for the Cure. “As one of the biggest leaders in the fight against breast cancer, we are eager to continue our partnership with Row for the Cure and its growing events,” said Lopez. “We are thrilled to continue enhancing our support to benefit the cause as well as working alongside their invaluable staff and volunteers.”
