In 2007 Pocock Racing Shells made their first donation to support the national development of Row for the Cure. Because of their support, Row for the Cure has been able to increase our public visibility in the rowing community with a national website and send representatives to important rowing events around the USA. Being able to count on funding has made it possible for us to expand our national board, develop marketing and fundraising strategies, and to recruit rowing programs to host Row for the Cure events.
“Our whole purpose is to bring us all closer to a world without Breast Cancer” said founder Kathy Frederick. “We send our heartfelt thanks to Bill Tytus and the Pocock Racing Shells family. We know Pocock cares!”
All funds raised at Row for the Cure events go to local communities for education, patient and family support, and cutting edge research. The financial support from Pocock Racing Shells makes it possible for an all-volunteer organization to make a huge difference in carrying out our mission.
